Sales Manager / Director
Career Opportunity
Torres Networks Inc. seeks an experienced Sales Manager to take its Policy Control and Management products to market in North America. The Sales Manager will be responsible for closing orders, pipeline growth and meeting annual revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain business relationships with new and existing customers
- Research potential customers and maintain a healthy sales funnel
- Make presentations to prospects on Torres products and communicate features and benefits
- Manage key partner relationships to foster pipeline development and new customer relationships
- Develop an overall strategic territory sales plan and individual account plans
- Respond to RFI/RFPs, leveraging internal resources as necessary
- Work closely with sales engineering to close opportunities
- Work closely with product management, marketing and engineering to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood
- Follow a structured and documented opportunity management process and CRM to manage opportunities
Skills / Background
- At least 5 years of experience in selling complex hardware/software products to telcos and/or ISPs
- Experience selling policy control, DPI products highly desirable
- Partner and channel development experience highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in forecasting and meeting sales targets
- Key tier-1, 2 and 3 carrier/ISP relationships in North America
- Comfortable making cold calls, breaking in new territory
- Familiarity with standard sales automation software
- Able to travel in North America frequently as necessary
- Strong interpersonal (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Build and maintain business relationships with new and existing customers
