Anand Uppili
Co-founder and CEO
Anand has 20 years of Telecom industry experience that spans Management, Marketing, Business Development, Network Planning and Engineering functions. He was earlier Country Head, India for Tellabs. Anand's well rounded industry expertise covers both Equipment manufacturers and Service Providers. Prior to Tellabs, he was working for Infosys in Boston. His versatile telecom experience in the founding team helped visualize a confluence of technologies and ideas that led to the creation of Torres Networks. Anand has a Bachelor degree in Engineering from MK University, India.
Curt Hopkins
Advisor
MSc from Georgia Tech (USA), was UK Managing Director of Vodafone Business Services as well as holding senior executive positions at Fujitsu and Nortel. Prior to that Curt was CFO of emerging market telecoms start-up, Nursat, which grew to be the leading Central Asian internet service / enterprise network provider. Apart from advising Torres Networks, he is also heading Consilium Ventures, a firm specialising in mid-market technology buyouts.
Edmond Capart
Business Development Lead
Edmond Capart is the Co-founder of Torres Networks Ltd. He brings to Torres Networks a wide and rich business experience. Prior to Torres Networks, Edmond held senior positions in Product Management, Sales and Marketing in L’Oreal and Streetspace, a turnkey retail solution company specializing in broadband web stations and kiosks. This business experience, combined with an interest in newly emerging technologies, led him to take up financing of high technology startups. He played a key role in fund raising for a state-of-the-art wireless company in Malaysia. He is also the founder of a Belgian Advertizing Company. Involvement spanning over a decade and a half with consumers, high technology and finance has resulted in his co-founding Torres Networks, where technologies converge to enrich user experience. Edmond holds a degree from the European Business School, London. Edmond is in charge of Business Development of the Europe geography.
