Service Selection

Torres SMP provides Subscriber web self care portal, which lists all the services that can be offered to the subscriber. Also, it has the service selection tool that empowers subscribers to choose what they want, rather than depending on the operator. This empowerment helps subscribers change their plans or customize them based on personal preferences.

Proactive Notifications

Proactive notifications is a way for subscribers to get alerts and warnings regarding any new plan, new services available. Some of the proactive notifications can be through trials of new services that are launched for few sessions or for few days, or can be just information at the subscriber web self care portal, or through new offers.

Special Event Concessions

Various events occur during an year such as the thanks giving or the football season or Olympics season and many more region specific seasons. Special concessions during these events, or during personal events like an anniversary or birthday ensures that the subscribers get variety as well as feel personal. Roaming Control

When subscribers roam from their home location, they tend to spend more on bandwidth due to the additional cost of roaming. Bill Shock Mitigation

When a subscriber is in roaming, or accesses a high bandwidth application or a special service, they tend to over use their regular bandwidth quota or services quota. This in turn affects their monthly bill and the subscribers may be liable to pay much higher bandwidth or service usage fee to the service provider than their regular usage. In such cases, usually this leads to sudden shock for the subscribers when they see the bills at the end of the month. To avoid this, it is good for the service providers to keep the subscriber updated of their usage and ensure that there is no last minute shock. This empowers the subscriber with complete knowledge of their usage apart from avoiding last minute ‘bill shocks’, plus ensures proper communication from the service provider. An end user usually gets to purchase new rate plan for a month or for a prolonged period of time. There are times when a subscriber may want to use larger amount of bandwidth or download limit for a day or for 2 days. A regular rate plan does not gives this kind of micro-pre-paid facility.
